hello, im having an rcd installed on my existing cu, are the wires connecting the rcd to main 16mm, and is it ok to attach all neutral wires from main & rcd to same terminal strip as there isnt a seperate strip

Each RCD will have it’s own neutral new consumer units will have three neutral bars to comply with BS7671:2008 one for RBCO’s and two for the two RCD’s at this time either BS7671:2001 or BS7671:2008 can be used but would seem pointless to fit to old standard so looking at new regulations.
Consumer units now in most houses will need at least two 30ma 40ms RCD’s because of the burying of cables in the wall “522.6.7â€
