when dot and dabing to walls should there be a gap 25mm from the floor level or can the board fit top to bottom floor to ceiling?

hi
it can rest on floor, but generally you find you need to lift the board a little so a nice tight joint at ceiling. I don't advise you to force board in if cutting a little to big as board will belly out!
