I'm looking to replacemy existing rad with a new radiator style towel heater...

my question is this the existing copper pipe comes up from the floor, and i don't really wanna mess with those:

Am i able to buy a smaller width towel heater and turn the legs around so that the fittings go on the outside of the radiator and not on the inside like so many are shown...

some you can and some you can't - some have bottom entry. It all dpends on the manufacturer - shop around for the one that you can fit with ease.
