Creda Europa 0080 gas cooker won't light Help, advice and problem solutions on all aspects of home appliances from washing machines to TV's

Creda Europa 0080 gas cooker won't light. Location: Gilwern, s. Wales.

Bottom oven won't light.
Turning the knob does nothing.
No spark, no gas.
The top oven works perfectly.

Suggestions gratefully received. I realise this is unlikely to be a DIY job but I'm intrigued to know what goes wrong to cause these symptoms!

check fuse in plug/ fused spur supplying electrics to cooker, no leckie, no gas!

Thank you but how does your answer correlate to "The top oven works perfectly. " ?

get a corgi registered installer to take a look, possible blockage in gas pipes, or problem with gas tap/rail.
