Dusty Concrete

by moatmeister » Tue Apr 15, 2008 5:18 am

Had new concrete internal floors laid and then screeded recently (end of Jan)

Concerned that the concrete screed is disintigrating to dust. Sweep it up and its as bad again in a few days. Is this correct after this time and if not what can I do about it?

Thanks

Use a proper concrete sealing product. PVA will not seal as it will not penetrate. It will also just give you a really nice sticky mess if it gets wet again.

Unsealed concrete generates dust for years!

Cheers
