New to the forums!

I thought I'll ask the experts here as I'm not sure what is right or wrong.

We have just put up a new garden wall (2m in height) and double bricked that we think is solely on our side of the party line (it maybe 1cm over we are not sure yet).

Our neighbours have said that we should have put a damp proof in the wall as it is touching the main house (we are in a semi and they are the other half).

Are they correct is this normal procedure?

DPC OR AIR GAP SO THAT PROPERTY DPC IS NOT BREECHED.

Highly unlikely that any moisture will pass from your garden wall through the outer house wall then across the cavity then through the inner leaf! However liquid injected DPC should keep them off your back and maybe inexpensive for only 2 metres.
