LAWN SAND IS GOOD AT SUPPRESSING MOSS BUT FIRSTLY, THE LAWN SHOULD BE SCARIFIED TO REMOVE AS MUCH OF THE MOSS AS POSSIBLE AND THEN AIRATED, SANDED AND RE-SEEDED.
IF YOU WANT QUICKER RESULTS THEN USE A MOSS KILLER BUT STILL BE PREPAIRED TO RAKE OUT/SCARIFY THE LAWN TO GET RID OF DEAD MOSS AND POSSIBLY RE-SEED LAWN.
USING A MULTI-PURPOSE WEED/FEED/MOSS KILLER CAN SHOW GOOD RESULTS PARTICULARLY IF MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION IS MADE DURING THE GROWING SEASON ( AND WILL HELP TO KILL OFF THE PERENIAL WEEDS TOO) FOLLOWED BY AN AUTUMN LAWN TREATMENT WHEN GRASS IS BECOMING SLOW TO GROW TO PROVIDE FOR GOOD GRASS ROOTS WHICH WILL ALL MAKE FOR A HEALTHIER GREENER LAWN THE FOLLOWING SPRING.
