I have made a doorway from my kitchen to my garage and it goes through a solid 9 inch supporting wall (this was the exterior wall before the garage was built on the side). This part of the garage will become a utility room, so I'd like to have a standard internal door here. I have of course put the appropriate 9 inch steel reinforced concrete lintle above it and I now need to line the door.
Is it possible to buy ready made door liners that are over 9 inches deep like you can for standard interior doors or will I have to make up my own? I'm assuming that I line this door in the same way that I would for a standard interior door through a partition wall? Or am I incorrect with this assumption. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
