Hi, hope someone can help with my problem . Just renovating a bungalow and have recently taken a thin layer off the floor in the bathroom to level it as it had been raised for a disabled shower. We have now noticed near the sewer pipe from the old toilet and the water tap coming in the building a buildup of damp patches. This appears to start running along the adjacent walls at only floor level. have looked down the soil pipe and I can just make out what looks like a crack but it is at least 1.5 feet down. Is this just a red herring to my damp patches or is there something else causing these patches? Thanks for looking and thanks for any advice that helps in fixing my situation. Nig.
