Extra TV sockets

by Gary Mellor » Sun May 18, 2008 4:06 pm

I have installed a new digital aerial and then chased the co-axial cable into the lounge to a low level socket (for a unit-mounted TV). The cable route continues to another socket at mid-wall level (for a wall mounted TV). Obviously I will only be using one outlet at a time, but wonder if there is a socket I should use which provides for this type of installation (ie 2 outlets off the same cable run) without reducing signal strength. Does anyone know ? Thanks for any assistance.

You can't get something for nothing and any splitter without some power input will reduce the signal. There are a whole host of splitters and combiners what I would say is the closer any amp is to the aerial the better it will work.
