formatted computer

hello everyone,, i formatted my computer as others suggested, all went well, but i have now lost my microsoft office, that was pre installed, word exel etc, any one know where i will find it thanks in advance

Oh dear!

Formatting a drive wipes EVERYTHING off a drive including MS Office. You will have to install it again from the CD if you have one or the rescue disks if supplied may help.

you may find that the hdd was already partitioned when it was first imaged by the supplier,in which case all your install files will still be on an unformatted partition, you would need a boot disk, preferably hirens boot cd, which would allow you to see the other drive, tho it may be visible anyway
