Double Glazing done after walls are skimmed

by sherbetvickster » Fri May 23, 2008 1:58 pm

Hi,

I'm having my double glazing replaced soon, but the installation has been delayed and in the meantime I'm having all the walls in the house skimmed.

Will the windows installation affect any of the work that has been done by the plasterer ?

Now I have actually found a plasterer and got a start date from him, I don't really want to delay him in order to get the windows replaced first - cos I run the risk that he'll find another job in the meantime and I'll never get him in !!

Many thanks

Not a problem.
If your window fitters are any good they should not cause any damage
at all.
Becides any damage they could cause shall only be slight and easily rectifyed.
