Toilet waste pipe

by jules123 » Fri May 23, 2008 10:16 am

Hi, I have just moved into a property and the previous householder fitted a new bathroom suite, unfortunately he hasn't sealed the toilet waste pipe properly and I have noticed a leak. Can anyone advise me how to correctly seal it and with what. Will that cork sealer be affective for this job? Or do I need special glue for the rubber thing around the pipe where the leakage is coming from? Desperate for help!!!! Jules xx

You'll get nowhere trying to seal the thing.

It's not fitted properly. Either take it off and refit or replace.

Cheers
