Shower needs to drain up hill

by jardov » Sun Jun 08, 2008 8:00 pm

I'm installing a shower into our basement and need to lift the water - what's the best way to do this? The building regs guy suggested draining into a sump built into the garden and then use a sump pump to pump it into our nearest drain. I was wondering whether or not there was a macerator type solution with which I could lift the water internally and then direct to a suitable drainage point.

thanks
