WALL SOCKET SWITCH PROBLEM

by Linhombre31 » Fri Jun 13, 2008 6:38 pm

Occasionally one of the switches on a double wall socket I use for telephone and PC connections won't switch "off", despite a few tries. There's also an intermittent spark from the switch. Is this a repairable fault, or should I play safe and replace the socket? PS The switches are of the modern "rocker" type.

Hi Linhombre31,
Easiest solution is it change it, the pivots inside switches sometimes do break or damage making it hard to switch.

Thanks. I did wonder whether it was a "wear and tear" problem, and will replace the socket.
