Hi there, I'm a newbe so be gentle lol.
My question surrounds bringing water pipes into the house, drainage pipes exiting the house, and reducing the risk of damp.
I intend to lay a concrete floor in a new build project, how do you bring pipes into the house through foundations (lintelled and pea gravel packed)and up through floor whilst maintaining the integrity of the DPM.
Alternately if i took the pipes through the walls this would obviously be above the damp course, surely this increases the risk of damp/water penetration in the wall, or am I misguided.
Any info or possible solutions would be most welcome.
