worktop mitre joint

i just did a worktop mitre joint yesterday and am thinking about redoing it but i think i already know the answer ha ha i used silicone for the joint and the long bolts i know after 24 hours the silicone has set is it possible to undo the bolts and give one of the worktops a slight tap tap to release the silicone and then peel away the old silicone and restart or am i stuck with my slight no so even joint yes yes i know i should have done it right the first time lol i had a blooming headache and thought it would be ok lol only until later i thought grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr cheers

The silicone never sets really hard, not in 24 hours. Try slightly loosening the bolts and placing a piece of wood on the high side of the joint, Tap with a hammer and try to level the joint. Retighten the bolts. Could work..Did for me!
