Toilet not flushing properly Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

The toilet handle feels really slack and it takes around 4 hard/fast turns to make it flush - although it sometimes doesn't work and only a bit of water comes out but the handle feels as though it's just flushed so gotta try again after a few mins?

This is really annoying, what could be the problem?
