I want to raise my loft floor by 75mm before boarding it (to avoid cables and pipes), and I thought I might as well add insulation in the process.
The problem is, I cannot find 75mm thick glass mineral wool insulation. Can I use 100mm, and "split" it in the thickness ?
Also, how do you cut through glass mineral wool insulation ? Do you use scissors, or a special tool, or do you just rip it ?
Thanks for your advice.
