Fitting an electric shower

by Stillia » Thu Jul 10, 2008 6:21 pm

Hi, can anyone help me?
My Dad's electric shower (Mira 8.5Kw) has broken & I am looking to fit a replacement. Can anyone tell me how to go about the plumbing side of things, as I'm ok with the electrics. Is it just a case of isolating the power, removing the front & disconnecting both the conductors & pipework?
Will the new shower fit straight onto the same plumbing connections? Do I need to replace with another Mira?

Many thanks, Andy.

If you buy another Mira the water connections will probably be the same, as they haven't changed much over the years.

Mira are the best by far (my opinion).

Should be an easy job.

its always a good idea to turn off the electricity and likewise the water as well.
