NO water coming out of shower head All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

Just fitted a mixer shower.We have water coming from hot and cold pipes into the mixer but none leaving the outlet up in to the shower head.
Do I need to fit a shower pump?Is it to do with water pressure?
We have an electrical combi boiler with seperate cold and hot water pipes to bath and shower system.Need advice quick.

Take the hose off the shower, any water ? if not have you removed all the protective stoppers ?

Is the shower suitable for the type of system you have ??? read instructions.

Have tried all you suggested but still no water coming up the outlet pipe to the shower head.

I have the same problem but with an existing shower. The water is coming out the taps but only sporadically from the shower head, depending on how much i play with the push down control. Any guidance on what might be the problem and how to fix it would be much appreciated.
