Best way to fill a large gap??

by jonlb72 » Sun Jul 20, 2008 8:41 pm

Hi folks

Can anyone help? I want to fill a gap in the corner of my bathroom wall that is 90 degrees to where I've just put up some new plasterboard. It is about 10mm deep and 15mm at it's widest point, so what is the best filler to fill this gap?

Thanks

J.J.

Use nylon scrim tape across length of joint, may need two lengths on top of each other and fill out with jointing compound a couple or three application, light sand down after dry on each application and sand down to smooth after final application has dried. Materials available at DIY stores and Builders merchants.
