GU10 Downlights

by Kev.L » Tue Jul 22, 2008 10:05 pm

Could anyone advise what are the safest down lighters to use? I dont want to use Halogen because of the fire risk. Do GU10 fittings give out less heat? Im going to fit them into a down stairs ceiling with childs bedroom directly above, I understand fire-rated fittings are avalible but if there is ANY RISK at all of danger I will not fit them. Screwfix cat. No. would be a big help.

GO to your nearest electrical wholesaler and ask for low energy
range , and led range in GU10 type fittings.
I installed several types recently and they could be what u r
looking for. wholesalers will normaly give good advice.
ours r good with general public.
