How do you replace a busted door frame after someone forceably pushed the door open and broke the frame that has the lock latches?

Hi
Depending on the damage there if its not to bad then cut out the damaged area and splice in new timber, the splice should be at an angle this will increse the security, glue and screw, shape to match the existing replace the hard ware .
