Help Needed

Hi,

Please can someone advise me if i sand a wooden floor first or if i fill in the gaps first before sanding it with a hired sander?

Start by giving floor a good sweep, then run your hands over floor feeling for raised nail heads, knock them in and repair any visible damage (loose boards etc) Then give floor first sand - collect some sawdust in to a jar and mix it with PVA glue and then use as a filler filling as you go, each time you go over floor with sander you'll uncover more holes !!!
(because PVA dries clear the holes when filled and cured / sanded dissappear.
