can you plaster onto plywood

by charemsue » Sat Jul 26, 2008 8:16 am

i have to prep a bathroom for my brother to plaster, due to various time constraints , i need to get the walls ready a week before he can plaster , but would still like to use the bathroom, not wanting to hang plasterboard then get it wet, is it possible to hang plywood and then seal it , so it can be plastered in a fortnight but the bathroomcan still be used? if not i"ve got a busy friday night!!!!!

charemsue,
Why don't you board it then protect it with some hardboard or polythene or both, I know people that have plastered over plywood but I wouldn't recommend it. Surely you want the job done right?
