Panelled Doors

Hi all im new here

Just a quick question

Can you trim panelled doors? the size of my current doors are 1970mmX755mm Toilet door 1970mmX680mm sizes of new doors are 1981mmX762mm

I would say yes. If you look at the information that comes with the door it will usually tell you the maximum you can trim off each end of the door.

Height wise you are only removing about 11mm so that would be just over half a cm at each end which shouldn't be a problem.

Width wise, apart from the toilet door you are only removing 7mm from the width so again that wouldn't be a problem. Your problem is the toilet door as that's considerably smaller.

If I remember rightly doors come in 2 basic standard sizes. I work in old measurements as that's how I remember them. The new doors you have are 78"x30". You want to get a 78"x27" door for your toilet.
