Stained Glass Windows

by heathmount » Tue Aug 12, 2008 9:33 am

Hi

I'd like to put a stained glass window of sorts at the top of my landing. Nothing huge but something tall and thin to make a feature. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on one that's not going to cost the earth? I live in Hertfordshire. Also is there anything to watch out for in doing this? There's a window there already which will have to come out and the space altered to fit the new one, but apart from that is it fairly straight forward?

cheers

You can purchase the lead from any diy store,It comes in a roll with self adhesive tape on the back, once you have decided on a design you can paint the glass any colour you like, using a special glass paint from diy or artist supplies shop...
