I used up a bag of bonding on this job for a base on new blockwork, old revealed blockwork/galv steel wiring conduits (plaster knocked out, wiring in under steel), and concrete lintel. I still need to build up to 6 mm in some areas on top of the bonding (which has now dried off for a week and is scratched for a key) before applying multicoat finish.
I have half a bag of basecoat plaster to use up, but it's not in the original bag, and neither I or my builder mate can decide if it's browning or bonding!
If I PVA the bonding coat that has gone off and apply this browning / bonding , will it still be ok / stick if it's browning rather than bonding?
