 I live in a mid terraced old minor cottage with a pitched roof and a flat roof kitchen extension. The extension is shared with my neighbour (two kitchens). Last year shortly after I moved in a leak started in the kitchen which I thought was the flat roof. Flat roof repaired, still leaking. Last week the 1st three rows of tiles on the main roof removed and new felt put in place at join to kitchen and sealed to main roof. Could tell at time this was not the problem as to dry under felt for a leak so it is still leaking. All tiles checked on main roof, nothing broken or loose. Gutterings cleaned around bay window in loft conversion and of course still leaking. Each roofer that comes out has s different reason for the leak and are happy to charge a small fortune to fix something that does not require repair. The felt on the main roof from 3rd row up to top of roof is pretty old, but is is possible for water to get through roof tiles then felt to wooden roof to then poor down inside roof into the kitchen. No water damage inside main house). I also thought may be the join between houses, long metal gutter but hat looks fine with no breaks in join. I really give up now, I am single girl relying on roofers without a clue and at my wits end. Any suggestions or miracles would be great. Oh and when it rains it rains in my kitchen, pours in through the wooden beams buckets full. Kitchen ruined and insurance compnay not interested as not storm damage eeek. Heather
