moving a toilet

by russellfl » Tue Sep 09, 2008 10:14 am

Can someone help!

I need to move my toilet about 2 metres away but the feed from the soil stack comes under my floating floor and looks to be made of clay. i think I may have some problems because the soil pipe has been built around with blocks and mortar which looks suspicious and I am expecting to find it has been broken. If i expose it and find it's broken any ideas how I can repair it so I can fit a 110mm plastic elbow to it?

cheers

Cut it and use a connector to connect clay to plastic.

Such as this, clay to plastic connector, which is flexible rubber and a large jubilee clip.
