Brick Flooring

by chocolate » Sat Oct 04, 2008 9:44 am

I have a brick floor in the kitchen and I think the washing machine has been leaking so there is quite a bit of gunge on the floor. I have tried to clean up but the bricks are now drying white. Does anyone have any advice on how to cure this and restore the bricks? Many thanks

Go buy some brick acid from a builders merchant and follow the instruction. The white stuff is brick salts weeping out of the bricks. you get it alot on new brickwork.
