Apparently easy to fix but cant seem to work it out, I have now three saracen uvpc double glazed windows where the bottom locking bolt has come adrift from the handle mech therefore jamming the window shut, how is this problem fixed please .

I took inner glazing bar off (go careful) next to latch, then drilled small hole (about 4mm) through the newly exposed frame parallel with the glass through to the dropped bar. then jimmy it up with a screwdriver.

Fix or remove the offending part then refit the glazing bar and no one will ever know.

It worked for me.
