Soundproofing a garage ? Help ?

by andy reed » Mon Oct 27, 2008 2:48 pm

HI, I am a keen music enthusiast and have been recently been making alot of noise in my garage. This has upset the people next door, so i was wondering if i could soundproof my garage? I dont even know wether is i possible but i was just looking for some advice. If it helps, The garage has two brick walls and one plaster board one and a plater boards ceiling. It also has a big metal door. I was just wondering how much this might cost and how i would go about doing it thanks .

Have you had a look at the Soundproofing projects in the DIY Projects area: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/projects.htm There are several that may provide you with some ideas and assistance.

Regards
