Leaking Bath Mixer Nuts - please help Fillers, sealants and adhesives for all types of DIY work. Help, advice and information on all aspects of this subject

Hi,
i have just replaced my bath water mixer. Unfortunately i cannot stop water leaking out of both hot and cold water nuts where the copper pipes connect to the mixer inputs.

I have tried using special wrenches, PTFE tape and silicone sealant, but to no avail :(

what can i do to stop the leak? the space behind the bath is really tight making the use of a conventional wrench impossible. would the use of Speedfit/B&Q plumbeasy system plus a 22m coupler do the trick? or shall i just put in more oil seals and connect the mixer to the existing copper pipes?

yes i did - but i could not locate one that specifically tackles my problem. i did read the project called "How to fit a bathroom" but i found it a bit too generic.

if you can tell me which projects to look at, that will be great.
