Hi,
Our radiators have been working fine but having returned from a week away, find the house freezing. We have a hot water system and a separate heating system. Hot water - no problems. Heating, the pipes are hot, the pump kicks in about once every two hours for about 10 - 15 minutes, not enough to heat anything much. One thing I have noticed is that the pump is very hot, I know it pumps the hot water round the house but I have not noted it before. I have tried playing with room thermostat, heating controls, even tried turning up the thermostat on the boiler from 60 to 70. This resulted in the pump kicking in again for about 3 minutes but then stopped. Adjusting this upwards again had no effect so it's now back to 60.
Any thoughts gratefully received. Bet it freezes tonight....just my luck.
Thanks.
