Transporting Fridge-freezer

by swsgm30 » Wed Nov 12, 2008 5:33 pm

I've been offered a working fridge-freezer by a mate (who's getting a new one) and thought it might be handy for beer etc in the garage ... will it be ok to transport on its side as I drive an estate car?? .. not sure if I've heard they must be kept upright

Yes you can transport it on it's side but you must leave it upright for at least 18/24 hours before you plug it in or turn it on.
