Hello, just fitted 4 new radiators, they are 2 mtr high x 0.5mtr wide 'Multicolumn' radiators replacing 3 x conventional horizontal panel radiators (2 are in one room).
All are fitted ok and work great but the pressure in the boiler gets high (3 - 4) bar when the heating is on although it is 1 bar when cold. The radiators hold a phenominal amount of water, could this be the reason for the high pressure? Assuming the basic principle that as the water heats up it expands and creates the increased pressure.
Or, what else could it be and how could it be solved?
Another thing (this has always been the case) is that I can only seem to get hot water from my boiler if the water temperature is set on its highest setting. Can anyone enlighten me?
Cheers, Simon
