Asbestos Removal

I appreciate that all cases are different, but what sort of cost am I looking at to remove the asbestos boarding from the ceiling of my attached garage (approx. 8' x 12') - Are we talking £100's

depends on what the product is! If its AIB then it requires a licensed contractor by law and wont be cheap, will also require testing by an analytical firm.

There is a lot of misunderstanding regarding asbestos!
Blue asbestos is very dangerous and must not be touched without proper training and equipment!
White asbestos, the type used for many garages is perfectly safe, if you remove it without sawing drilling or doing anything to create a dust.
