Torbeck Valve Problem

by sylvester » Wed May 16, 2007 9:24 pm

Hello
Hope someone can help?
I have just fitted a Torbeck cistern valve ( for a bottom Inlet) When the water has finished filling up and the float rises to the top it makes a loud thud. Somebody told me to turn the water pressure down at my stop cock but that hasn't help either. Can somebody help?

Hello
Thanks for replying (Torbeck cistern valve) yes I did attach the comb filter to the flow restrictor and then I put it back together again. But mine came with two flow restrictor and one comb filter I presumed the other was a spare.

The pressure regulators are for low and high pressure water supply`s you may have the wrong one in , they tell you which is which via the instructions and it has lp or hp on respectivly .
