Gas pipe from meter through the wall? Information, help and advice on many gas related subjects from gas fires to domestic appliances

hi,

I'm in the middle of getting ready for fitting my condesing boiler, and i was wanting to drill the hole in the wall for my gas pipe from the meter to under my house myself, before the corgi bloke comes round so he can get on quiker. However i was wandering if i can cut a bigger hole through my wall vent(under the floor) and passs the pipe through there, is that ok or does the pipe have to go through the wall?

Hello htg engineer

If the wall is internal (no cavity) does the pipe still need to be sleeved? Would you mind clarifying the need to be sealed, what does that mean?
