I have a serious problem with penetrating damp. The house is of solid brick construction (Yellow Stocks with Lime Mortar courses)built in about the 1870's.The damp is coming in at a height of about 2-3 metres on an external corner, spreading about 1 metre on either side of the corner. The walls are Sandtexed. I've checked the brickwork and pointing, but can find no obvious faults.
Is there a waterproofing product that can be applied on top of Sandtex,or do i need to strip back the affected area to bare brick ?
Alternatively. Is there a waterproofing product that can be applied to the interior walls ?
Thanks
Barry
