Fitting a stone shower tray All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

Hi can someone please advise. I am about to fit a stone shower tray in but need to raise to allow for water to drain away. Would 18mm plywood WBP hardwood be right for this job. Is this product suitable for the job as water will be around this area.

Use 18mm exterior grade plywood.

I hope to fit two shower trays, one on a concrete floor and one on a wooden floor hope this helps.

For the one on concrete form a concrete base with the wast pipe buried in it - allow a large hole around the waste for final positioning. For the one on timber, if you cannot get the waste below floor level, form a timber frame, fit WPB ply top with tray on that.
