Plumbing Quote

by mccam » Sat Dec 20, 2008 8:03 am

Hi

I've been quoted £3800 for the following (small terrace house London area)

remove water tank from loft
remove water heater (immersion) from bedroom and all piping
remove gas boiler from kitchen
remove bathroom suite

Supply and fit gas combi boiler and all piping
Supply and fit new bathroom suite connect to mains supply.

Only had the above quote so far; does it sound within reason?

thanks

mccam,
Difficult to say without a specification but if the quote includes everything it sounds far too reasonable. Get BG in to quote for the boiler only, I suspect they will get close to your quoted price for boiler replacement only.

Impossible to say without seeing the job.

Don't go with first quote. Get 4 or 5 you'll soon see which one's are trying to rip you off.

Hi,

I'd go with Htg.
The bath suite could be £250, the boiler could be £600.
Need to know whats being specced.
