How To Remove a Gas Hob - Advice Required

by w88chy » Sun May 20, 2007 9:41 pm

Can someone please advise me how to remove a gas hob to determine the size of the hole that has been cut for it?

I'm thinking of chaning my hob from a 5 gas burner to an electric ceramic hob and I need to know the size of the hole in the worktop.

Nikki

ps I won't be tampering with the gas supply I just want to check the size of the hole.

Gas hobs cannot be removed without tampering with the gas supply (if fitted correctly - rigid fix) measure the size of the gas hob thats in, the hole in the worktop will be approximately 1" - 1.5" smaller right round the hob. Get a corgi registered fitter to remove gas hob
