Levelling a lawn

by bones » Tue Jan 06, 2009 7:51 am

Advice please.....

I'm tackling a lawn which is rather uneven, nothing to serious that would warrant starting again from afresh however would be gratfeul for some tips...

Am i best to try and roll it and then seed it, or
apply a levelling top soil direct to the truf and then roll it, or
something else.....

Cheers

bones,
Buy some fine sandy loam and rake it in over the low areas. Do not roller the surface. This may take a few applications once the growing season starts.
end
