Blistering Paint exterior wall in the winter

by robbie65 » Fri Jan 09, 2009 10:32 pm

Hi,

I have had a problem with my garden wall it keeps blistering each winter but only half of the wall blisters the rest of the wall is fine.
I am wondering does anyone know what is the best way to fix this is it to have the wall replastered or use a certain undercoat to stop the blisters?

any help appreciated
rob

robbie65,
You don't say whether it is a retaining wall or a free standing wall, either way water is getting into the wall and blowing off the render. Unless you can stop water getting into the wall nothing will stop the render coming off.
