Hi, today I put some grass seed and weed on my lawn and some of it has got onto out new decking. The decking has turned a brown colour, I think this is due to the Ferrous Sulphate. Does anybody have any suggestions on hoe to remove this, I will I need to stain the decking? I hope you can help as we have only had the decking for 5 days and I feel pretty bad about the stain! :oops:

My neighbour recently treated his grass which was next to my new block paved drive and I have similar staining. It happenend about a month ago and the stains are still there, but they do appear to be fading very slightly - have you found any solution?

Hi,
Not sure if this will work for you, but there's a product on the market I use called Net-Rol which brings faded and grey timber back to its original colour - it may work with this stain you have.
Alternatively, you may have to restain the deck to match colour, but wait until chemicals have leached out before applying any stain - check with a test area first.
