Creda Shower water inlet connect problem All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

Hi
I have bought a new Creda electric shower and am trying to connect the main water pipe to the inlet on the shower using 15mm pipe connections. When I try to connect it, the plastic pipe on the shower is just a shaft with no screw end and when I try to put an elbow connect on it just comes straight off?

Am I missing something as its getting very fustrating!

I assume you are using a compression fitting? Have you checked that the elbow has got an olive in it before you tighten it up?
