Freeestanding showers? All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

Hi everyone,

I am looking to put a freestanding shower in my very small bathroom, when I say freestanding what I mean is I only have 1 wall large enough to put the shower against.

I have seen the D shaped enclosures but these do not look large enough, does anyone know any suppliers who can supply rectangular/square enclosure that only fix to 1 wall.

Any help would be appreciated

I assume you mean that you will have 3 glass sides. In this case you need to get one door and two side panels (these can be fitted to either side since they just slot on and screw into each other). You can buy these separately at most places - b&q is a starting point, and can be got in a variety of sizes to suit whatever tray you're getting.

After that it's a matter of cost - cheapest i've used lately is from plumbworld.co.uk but you'll have to contact them direct to get them to order an extra side panel from the manufacturers.

As Swidders says, buy a tray then panels to suit.

Sizes can be 700, 760, 800, 900, 1000. 1200, 1400mm wide by various depths between 760 and 900mm.
